沙漠绵延，一派广袤的景象，生命似乎subsist（仅靠微薄之力生存）。一株充满精神的小植物，abundant（充裕）地生长着，从干涸的土地中奋力钻出。它梦想着雨水，一种能让它的叶子歌唱的saturation（饱和）。它望着云朵，如同天空中漂浮的cascara（咖啡果皮）薄片，并进行着开花的沉默rehearse（排练），为水份到来的那一天做准备。它知道，即使在匮乏中，它的希望也像牢固的glue（胶水），将它渺小的存在维系在一起，抵御着炎热干燥空气的inflation（膨胀）。

The desert stretched, a vast expanse where life seemed to subsist on very little. A tiny plant, abundant in spirit, pushed through the dry earth. It dreamed of rain, a saturation that would make its leaves sing. It watched the clouds, like cascara flakes floating in the blue sky, and practiced its opening, a silent rehearse for the day the water would arrive. It knew that even without much, its hope was like a strong glue, holding its small existence together against the inflation of the dry, hot air.
